Percy Lisgar Hansford was in the ninth grade at the age of ten--a brilliant boy! At the age of 19, he traveled to Manitoba, where he filled in for someone else working on the railroad. As he walked on top of the boxcars, the train jerked and knocked him to the ground. He had a concussion and died shortly afterward. He was engaged to Edie Smith, whose father was a veterinarian. Edwin brought the body home for burial.
