Ronald Richard Hansford

Born March 26, 1937, at Windsor, Ontario.

Ronald Hansford was an optometrist in Mississauga, Ontario. He married Clare Bruna Merlo (b. September 6, 1938), who was a school teacher, on July 22, 1966, at Richmond Hill, Ontario. Ron was president of the Ontario Optometry Association of Canada, and an advisor to the Department of Health of Ontario. The family spent much of its free time at their summer cottage at McCrae Beach, near Jackson Point on Lake Simcoe. Fishing and water skiing are very popular there. They had the following children:
  1. Kristan Lynn Hansford (b. January 25, 1969).
  2. Timothy Scott Hansford (b. February 15, 1970) (twin).
  3. Michael Shawn Hansford (b. February 15, 1970) (twin).
  4. Matthew James Hansford (b. January 30, 1974).
  5. Patrick Jonathan Hansford (b. March 2, 1976).
