Percy became one of the leading architects in New Zealand, winning a gold medal at one point. His firm was Turnbull and Rule. He was an avid collector of coins, stamps, and books. His library, consisting of about 9000 books, was well-known throughout New Zealand.
Married in 1914.
Kathleen was an excellent pianist and famous soprano singer.
