Percy Watts Rule

Father: Alexander Pettigrew Rule (1887-)

Mother: Clara Jenkins Clarke (1864-)

Born 1888, in Napier, New Zealand.

Died 1953.

Percy became one of the leading architects in New Zealand, winning a gold medal at one point. His firm was Turnbull and Rule. He was an avid collector of coins, stamps, and books. His library, consisting of about 9000 books, was well-known throughout New Zealand.

Spouse: Kathleen Ann Wheeler (b. ca. 1892; d. 1952)

Married in 1914.

Kathleen was an excellent pianist and famous soprano singer.

1. Hazel Rule (b. June, 1915).
