Judy earned both national and world records (for women older than 40 years of age) for her running. Judy won the Paavo Nurmi Award, the best female athlete of the year in track, and best female master’s athlete of the year.

In 2006, Judy moved to Tonopah, Nevada from Jackson Hole, Wyoming to live next to her son Chuck, because she developed Parkinson’s disease. She has lived in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Cupertino, Omaha, Sunnyvale, Durham and Chapel Hill (NC), Sherborne (England) and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Judy is a keeper of family records, and is the source of almost all the information in this section of the web site.

Judy wrote a life report that was published in the New York Times.
