June took a secretarial course after graduating from high school. She went to Toronto, where she found employment at Eaton's Department Store. Bill and June lived in Nobleton, Ontario. He was part owner of an electronic component distributor. They had the following children:

1. Joanna Lynn Ford (1976-).
2. Willliam Allan Ford (1979-).
